What is POUT?
POUT is a group for young people between the ages of 13-19 who are Gay, Bisexual, Lesbian, Transgender or just not sure! We meet in Leyland once every week or two from 7:00pm till 9:30pm.
What do we do?
Each week we do different things, no two weeks are the same. We share our experiences and support each other. The things we do will help you to feel more comfortable with who you are and help you make friends within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) community. We participate in a range of different activities, such things as outdoor activities, art and LGBT work.
We cross work with a Lancashire group called Rainbow Generation, who bring LGBT youth groups from across the county together.
Don’t be! The group is entirely confidential no one will “out” you and we always welcome new members to the group.
Make contact! You don’t even have to use your real name. Contact one of the Youth Workers and they will support you in coming to the first meeting. Leave a message on the Pout answerphone on 0800 783 1524 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for the latest information.
