Journey to Africa in 2014
Every two years since 1984, the Journey of a Lifetime Trust (JoLt) has run challenging expeditions for young people between the ages of 14 and 21 who are physically, medically, socially or emotionally disadvantaged. The cost of these trips is paid for by the Trust, although where possible we do encourage youngsters to carry out a small level of fundraising.

Significant milestone for Lancashire Duke of Edinburgh awards programme
  THE 1000th young Lancastrian to complete the challenging Duke of Edinburgh programme has been officially presented with his Silver award by Matthew Tomlinson, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for children, young people and schools.
