About Lancashire Young People's Service

Young People in a line

It's all about you

The Lancashire Young People’s Service – or YPS - is an organisation specially created to provide a wide range of services for you – young people aged 13-19, or up to 25 if you have a disability, living in Lancashire.

The YPS was formed in 2008 from the Youth & Community Service and Lancashire Connexions to give young people an even better range of services, exciting opportunities and positive choices than before.

What do we do?

The YPS provides young people aged 13-19, or up to 25 if you have a disability, and living in Lancashire with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to – so that no matter where you live, what you are interested in or what issues you face, we hope we have something to offer you.

Whether you need practical help and support, information, advice or guidance or just want to join in something that’s fun, where you can make friends, the new YPS will have something for you.
